Places & Waiting List
01
How does it work from show around to start date?
When you visit our nursery, we will support you with completing all paperwork and paying the deposit to secure your child’s place. Our management team will then be in touch to arrange settling-in sessions. The first session focuses on getting to know your child, where we ask lots of questions to understand their routines, interests, and needs. This is followed by a parent induction, giving you time to learn about our nursery and ask any questions. We then plan further settling sessions based on what you and your child need. We pride ourselves on ensuring every child is happy, confident, and fully settled before their official start date.
02
How far in advance should i register for a place?
We encourage families to apply for a nursery place as early as possible to secure their preferred start date. Please ensure all start dates and funding eligibility details are correct at the time of application. If your circumstances change, we require a minimum of four weeks’ notice, as this helps us plan staffing and spaces effectively.
03
Is there a minimum attendance?
To help children feel secure, settled, and part of our nursery community, we have a minimum attendance requirement of two sessions per week. We feel that attending only one session a week does not give children enough time to settle and build strong relationships. The two sessions can be a mixture of the sessions we offer, giving families flexibility while ensuring the best experience for each child.
04
What happens if my situation changes & i no longer need childcare?
Please let us know as soon as possible if your circumstances change. We require a minimum of four weeks’ notice for any changes, as this helps us plan staffing and nursery places effectively.
Payments, Fees & Funding
01
How do payments work & when will my monthly fees be due?
Invoices are sent out on the 20th of the month prior and fees are due to be paid by the 1st of each month for the month ahead. We kindly ask that all payments are made on time to help us manage nursery operations smoothly.
02
How does tax free childcare work?
We accept Tax-Free Childcare. This government scheme helps working parents with childcare costs and can be used to pay nursery fees. Families living in Dudley can check their eligibility and apply online using the link below:

03
What is stretched funding?
We offer stretched funded hours for families who are eligible for the 30-hour funding. This option allows funded hours to be spread across the year. Please note that stretched funding is only available to parents who qualify for 30 hours.
Food & Allergies
01
Can you cater to my child's special diet?
We can cater to a child's special diet by carefully understanding their specific dietary needs, whether due to allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions. This involves planning meals with safe and suitable ingredients, avoiding any restricted foods, and ensuring balanced nutrition. Clear communication with parents or caregivers is essential, along with labelling meals appropriately and training staff to recognize and prevent cross-contamination. By taking these steps, we can create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable mealtime experience for every child.
02
Hot & Packed Lunches
Parents of children over 2 years old can choose whether their child receives hot lunches, with all meals clearly labelled with the child’s name to avoid confusion. For children under 2, hot meals are needed to ensure they receive the nutrition they need, and the cost of hot tea for under 2s is covered. This approach ensures clarity, safety, and proper nutrition for all children.
03
Do staff sit with children while they eat?
All staff sit with children during mealtimes to ensure their safety, offer support, and create a warm, family-like atmosphere. This encourages positive eating habits, conversation, and a sense of community, making mealtimes enjoyable and secure for every child.
04
What sort of food is offered & what if my child does not like the food offered?
We work with a catering company to provide healthy, nutritious lunches and a hot tea prepared by our kitchen staff. For children who do not eat the main meal, alternative options are always available. If you have any concerns about your child’s eating habits, please speak to a member of our team, and we will work with you to find the best way to support them.
