Our Climate Action Plan Statement.
Why This Matters
Learn kindness and responsibility, care for their surroundings, develop healthy hygiene habits, build a love for nature from an early age
Thank you for supporting us in helping children grow into caring, confident, and environmentally aware individuals 💚

Promoting Eco Movements
Working Together With Families - Using Eco Eddy.
Eco Eddy visits families at home to do something kind for our environment with children at home.
We share our environmental practices with parents and carers.
We encourage eco-friendly choices where possible.

Composting & Waste
We compost suitable food waste such as fruit and vegetable peelings.
Children are supported to put food scraps into the compost bin with staff help.
Compost is used for gardening so children can see how waste helps plants grow.
Nappies, Hygiene and Care
We use compostable nappy sacks where possible to reduce plastic waste. a.

Recycling & Junk Modelling
We recycle paper, cardboard, and clean plastic.
Children take part in junk modelling, using recycled materials to make models and artwork.
This helps children learn that items can be reused instead of thrown away.
👉 We welcome clean recyclable donations such as boxes, tubes, bottle tops, and containers for creative play.

Learning to Care for the World
Children enjoy gardening, nature play, and outdoor learning.
We talk about looking after plants, animals, water, and energy.
Simple messages are shared, like turning off taps and lights.
