Consumable & Enhanced Provision Charges.

As part of new government guidance, nurseries offering funded places must be transparent about charges for consumables and enhanced provision.

At Dreamtree (and our partner Timbertree Day Nursery), we have always aimed for transparency, and your consumables information is outlined below.

Weekly Consumables & Enhanced Provision Charges

  • 15 hours funded children: £5 per week (£2 Consumables + £3 Enhanced Provision)
  • 30 hours funded children: £10 per week (£4 Consumables + £6 Enhanced Provision)

When you join Dreamtree & Timbertree Day Nurseries, you opt-in to pay these fees when signing our Terms & Conditions.

If you stretch your funding you are not required to pay Enhanced Provision/Consumable charges throughout the half term holidays.

Opt-Out Opt-Out

Families may instead choose to opt-out and access government-funded hours only.

Those who opt out will receive:
The Same Nursery Experience (Any trips or outside agencies will be broken down into an individual cost that parent can opt in or out of.)
Funded hours free of charge

Please note:
🔹 Parents must provide all meals and snacks (in line with our food policy).
🔹 Funded  day availability may vary each term.
🔹 Extra or additional sessions will not be available for opt-out families.

We have worked hard over recent months to absorb these costs without passing them on to families; however, to continue providing the high standard of care and education you expect from Dreamtree Day Nursery, this adjustment has become essential.

Our commitment remains to offer a nurturing, educational, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive—and where parents have peace of mind knowing their child is cared for by qualified, dedicated staff.
