Supporting Your Child's Learning and Development

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

How We Monitor Progress

We regularly observe and assess children's development through everyday activities and play.

We complete observations each term and at important transition points, such as moving rooms or starting school.

Progress Check at Age Two

Between 24 and 36 months, we will provide a short written summary of your child's development in:

This assessment is completed by your child's Key Person and includes contributions from parents and, where appropriate, other professionals.

Your Child's Learning Journey

Every child has an online Learning Journey through our EY Log system.

This allows us to celebrate achievements, track progress, and plan next steps together.

Parents are encouraged to contribute by sharing photographs, achievements, and experiences from home.

Daily Life at Nursery

Our days are carefully planned to include a balance of:

We adapt routines to meet the needs and energy levels of the children throughout the day.

Food and Mealtimes

Clothing
