Nursery Closure - Friday 17th July 2026 - Safeguarding Training - Please note that nursery is always closed on bank holidays.
Autumn Term Events. - All events to be booked via office.
Please note all events take place for the week to ensure all chlildren get to have a go. Reminder to all parents if you dont have dress up at home we always have plenty at nursery, no child will ever be left out and if we dont have we will most definately craft!

Weather Appropriate & Nursery Clothes
As the weather becomes colder and wetter, we kindly remind parents that we enjoy going outside in all weathers, as outdoor play is an important part of children’s learning and development.
Please ensure your child comes to nursery with weather-appropriate clothing, including:
Wellies or waterproof booties, wet suits.
Hats, gloves, and scarves
We also encourage children to attend nursery in comfortable nursery clothes, as our days often include fun and messy play. Aprons are provided where possible; however, we do not insist on them, as we never want clothing concerns to stop children from fully enjoying their play and learning.
Injuries at Home & Medication.
As part of our parent partnership and safeguarding policy, we kindly ask that you let a member of staff know at drop-off if your child has had any injuries at home, such as bumps, bruises, or marks.
This helps us to ensure your child’s wellbeing throughout the day and allows us to accurately record and monitor any existing injuries. We really appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep all children safe and supported.
If your child has been prescribed medication, please ensure a medication form is completed on the EyLog parent app before bringing the medication into nursery. This helps us to administer medication safely and in line with our policies.
Please also note that any child who has been prescribed antibiotics must have been taking them at home for at least 48 hours before returning to nursery. This allows time for the medication to take effect and helps us to protect the wellbeing of all children.
Laundry Bags
To help us manage wet or dirty clothing more efficiently — and to reduce our use of disposable nappy sacks — we kindly ask parents to provide a named laundry bag for their child.
Any wet or messy clothing will be placed in the bag and sent home at the end of the day or week for washing. This small change helps us care for the environment while keeping children comfortable and organised.
